This is Spark’s ninth No.1 best-seller and is based on a movie script the author wrote as a star vehicle for teen queen Miley Cyrus. She chose the name, “Ronnie,” for the main character.

The story centers on seventeen year old, Veronica “Ronnie” Miller. Her life turns upside-down when her parents get divorced and her father moves from New York City to Wilmington, North Carolina.  Three years later, Ronnie remains angry and alienated from her parents, especially her father…until her mother decides it would be in everyones best interest if she spent the summer in Wilmington with him.  Ronnie’s father, a former concert pianist and teacher, is living a quiet life in the beach town, immersed in creating a work of art that will become the centerpiece of a local church. The tale that unfolds is an unforgettable story about love in its myriad forms- first love and the love between parents and children, that demonstrate, as only a Nicholas Sparks novel can, the many ways that deeply felt relationships can break our hearts…and heal them, as well.

This is the longest novel that Nicholas has written and well worth it.  The movie version comes to theaters this April.

For example:

On the “Outsiders” (1983) he wrote, “The climax of it all was the final rumble, where we just didn’t act out a massive gang fight. We really had a gang fight, with fists flying and blood running and guys pounding on each other…Our survival instincts kicked in, and we fought with a kind of primal fury.”

On “Dirty Dancing” (1987) he wrote, “I could hardly even bring myself to say, “Nobody puts Baby in a corner” in front of the cameras, it just sounded so corny. On “Ghost” (1990) he wrote, “The best love scenes don’t require what I call “humpage”…You don’t really want to see the characters jumping each other’s bones. You want to see them looking intently into each other’s eyes. In an intimate, personal moment that conveys desire. That’s what I feel is sexy.”

This book is worth reading. You will appreciate his work a lot more.

She has no problem admitting that she has cellulite and struggles with her weight.  She thinks that every woman battles with the same things but they just don’t want to admit it.  She explained to Britain’s Heat magazine:  “Dude, every woman has cellulite, I don’t care who you are.  Any girl who tells you she doesn’t have cellulite is a frickin’ liar!”

He said: “The hottest actor stuff doesn’t really mean anything. You have a month maybe with all this heat and hype.”

Depp, 46, and 45-year-old Pitt came second and fifth respectively.

The Glamour poll asked 2,000 British women to list the man they found most attractive.

Becoming vampire Edward in ‘Twilight’ has led Robert to some interesting run-ins with fans who have crushes on him.

He recently said: “People ambush me and try and find out what hotel I’m staying at, as well as wanting to touch my hair. Everyone just screams and screams. It feels surreal.

“Once there were four girls, in Chicago I think, and they had all scratched their necks until they bled.

“Then when they came up to me they had these bleeding scabs. It was gross.”

Jenna Jameson has posed for Playboy magazine just four months after giving  birth to twins.  The retired adult film star showed off her super-slim post-pregnancy body at  a provocative photo shoot for the racy magazine last week.

The 35-year-old blonde beauty – who has twin sons Jesse Jameson and Journey  Jett with mixed martial arts fighter Tito Ortiz – has had a busy week.  As soon as her Playboy shoot wrapped, she rushed to a Los Angeles studio to  film a new advertisement for PETA’s (People for the Ethical Treatment of  Animals) upcoming McCruelty campaign against fast food giant McDonald’s. The 30-second film sees Jenna posing in a sexy strapless dress while  describing the company’s slaughter of chickens.

She says: “Chickens killed for McNuggets are slammed into metal shackles.  Spinning blades meant to cut their throats often tear through their wings or  bodies instead.  “Many birds survive this terrifying, painful process, only to be scalded to  death in de-feathering tanks. There’s a less cruel method of slaughter that  renders chickens unconscious, but McDonald’s chooses to allow birds to be  mutilated and scalded instead.”

Jenna’s advertisement is due to air in September.  She has previously appeared in the animal rights group’s campaigns against  Kentucky Fried Chicken and the use of fur and leather in fashion.

Megan Fox has the body most envied by women. The ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ actress’ curvy shape topped Heat magazine’s Body Envy 2009 survey. The 23-year-old brunette beauty beat Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole – who has previously been criticized for being too thin – into second place.

Julian Linley, editor of the magazine, said: “We’ve always known that Megan Fox is a hit with men, but we were surprised at how quickly she has made an impact on women – they consider her to have the most covetable celebrity body.

“It’s really refreshing to see Cheryl Cole beating curvy bikini goddess Kelly Brook to second place, and for the Brits to make the top 10, alongside Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie and Beyonce Knowles.”

Model-turned-presenter Kelly came in third place, with Beyonce and Angelina in fourth and fifth position respectively. Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Lopez, glamour model Katie Price and Rihanna made up the rest of the top 10. Readers taking part in the survey said the perfect celebrity body would be made up of Megan’s face, Jennifer Aniston’s arms, Angelina’s breasts, Beyonce’s curves and Kelly’s legs.

I stumbled *ahem* onto these pictures of Evan Rachel Wood being featured in GQ magazine and I had to do some research to find out who the hell she is. I read her IMDB profile, and I’m still not any closer to knowing who the hell she is, why she would be asked to be in GQ, and if she’s ever been in anything that I would consider good. Oh well… she does look great, and in this day and age sometimes that’s enough. She really reminds me of Jessica Rabbit (you know, Roger Rabbit’s girlfriend). As a side note, be very afraid if you google for Jessica Rabbit with safesearch off — because there are far too many losers out there with too much time on their hands doing pictures of Jessica Rabbit naked.
