Less than a year after publishing the wildly popular ‘L.A. Candy’, the brainy beauty’s second young-adult novel, ‘Sweet Little Lies’, is No. 1 on the prestigious newspaper’s Children’s Chapter Books list for the week of February 21.

What’s next for the former ‘Hills’ stunner? Lauren and her team, Blue Eyed Girl, will executive-produce a movie based on her debut book!

“Each day the thought crosses my mind that when they get older, my kids are going to look back and think about how they were raised,” Gosselin told us.

“I know they will have a lot of questions about things that may not make sense because they were raised so unconventionally. I don’t want them to grow up and wonder; I want them to know without a shadow of a doubt how much I love them and how much every sacrifice made was worth it for them.”

The reality star and two-time New York Times bestseller is scheduled to release ‘I Just Want To Know: Letters To My Kids On Love, Faith And Family’ on April 23.

The successful singer-songwriter also acts, has her own custom-made guitars, has a line of dolls and greeting cards, and now says she will come out with a book someday. According to OK! Magazine’s British mag, she has already written a 350-page novel and plans to write her autobiography someday.
“Years from now, it would be cool to write a book about all the crazy stuff and the insane things I’ve gotten to do,” she tells OK!. “My life moves so fast … I have to write it all down, otherwise, I can’t remember where I was yesterday. I will write my biography for sure.”
Between recording, performing concerts, songwriting, acting, and winning awards, we just wonder where she finds the time to write a novel!

This is Spark’s ninth No.1 best-seller and is based on a movie script the author wrote as a star vehicle for teen queen Miley Cyrus. She chose the name, “Ronnie,” for the main character.

This is the longest novel that Nicholas has written and well worth it.  The movie version comes to theaters this April.

On the “Outsiders” (1983) he wrote, “The climax of it all was the final rumble, where we just didn’t act out a massive gang fight. We really had a gang fight, with fists flying and blood running and guys pounding on each other…Our survival instincts kicked in, and we fought with a kind of primal fury.”

But later, seeing the finished film, I had to admit it worked…I even quote a version of it myself these days, saying, “Nobody puts Patrick’s pancreas in a corner.”

You want to see them looking intently into each other’s eyes. In an intimate, personal moment that conveys desire. That’s what I feel is sexy.”

This book is worth reading. You will appreciate his work a lot more.
