One of Hollywood’s newest hunks from Down Under, Sam Worthington, hit the red carpet in support of ‘Clash of the Titans’ on March 30th . He came over the LA side of the Pacific Ocean for the film’s premiere.
With girlfriend Natalie Mark accompanying him as his “rock,” When asked if the cute couple has plans for an engagement. The Aussie hottie laughed it off, responding, “I don’t know if the viewers want to know that.”
He did elaborate with humor on why he took on the role of Perseus, explaining he signed on “to be in a rubber dress with a rubber sword, killing a bunch of rubber monsters…This is a movie for 10-15 year olds to have a blast at the cinema.”
The original Perseus in ‘Clash of the Titans” first voyage into the theater was played by Harry Hamlin in 1981. Without a full-blown premiere like this time around, Hamlin relished the moment and declared, “This is my premiere tonight.”
Full of riveting, action-packed scenes, ‘Titans’ clashed into theaters on April 2.
