
A Los Angeles judge has reportedly ordered Roman Polanski to return to the United States for sentencing related to a 32-year-old sex case.
The Associated Press reports that the director has been ordered to return to the U.S. from Switzerland, and is not permitted to be sentenced in absentia (while not present).
According to the AP, Superior Court Judge Peter Espinoza said his ruling was “in defense of the integrity of the justice system, he needs to surrender.”
