Beyoncé may be happily wed to longtime love Jay-Z, but it looks as though her parents are not experiencing the same marital bliss. After rumors circulated of a separation, Tina Knowles filed for divorce from her husband, Mathew Knowles, last month in Harris County, Texas.
Tina and Mathew have been married for 30 years and according to the petition, have not lived together since January of this year. The petition states the grounds for divorce being that, “The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities .
In October, a woman filed a paternity case against Beyoncé’s manager dad, alleging he was the father of her unborn child. In addition to their music powerhouse daughter, Mathew and Tina also have 23-year-old songbird Solange.
