Taylor Swift reports that she has already written more than half of the songs she plans to include on her upcoming third album. So far, all the songs that she’s chosen for the album were penned by Taylor alone. “It’s been really, really awesome,” she says. “Songwriting is kind of involuntary for me. It’s how I deal with emotions. It’s how I deal with victory and defeat and happiness and sadness and anger and frustration, and I have no choice but to write songs about it when it happens to me. So it’s going to be interesting when this next record comes out, reading that diary.”
