Garth Brooks, 47, announced at a press conference that he will end his nine-year retirement to play an extended engagement at the Encore Las Vegas starting Dec. 11. No tour. No album. Just Vegas! Couldn’t he have made the announcement on Facebook? Isn’t that what updates are for?
