While the two were filming the massage scene in ‘Meet the Fockers,’ Robert encouraged Barbra to “do it harder.” She followed his requests and ended up with two sprained thumbs! She ended up having to get cortisone shots to ease the pain. She laughed and said: “That’s method acting!”
