Unlike Michael Jackson, no one seems to be on a witch hunt and there aren’t a million conspiracy theories floating around about DJ AM’s death. It’s plain and simple accidental drug overdose. You can claim he committed suicide, but who knows, guy was on so much shit there’s no way to tell.
DJ AM’s death has been ruled “accidental”.
The New York City Medical Examiner has determined the musician – who was found dead in his New York apartment last month – died of “acute intoxication” due to “substance abuse”.
Gossip website TMZ claims the official coroner’s report reveals the 36-year-old star – real name Adam Goldstein – was taking cocaine, oxycodone, Vicodin, Ativan, Klonopin, Xanax, Benadryl and levamisole at the time of his death.
The star, who was once engaged to Nicole Richie, had battled drug addictions in the past.
His funeral – which was held at Los Angeles’ Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary on September 2 – paid tribute to his attempts to get sober.
An invitation to the service read: “The format of the evening will be in the style of an open 12-step meeting. Adam’s friends both from his life in recovery, as well as those from other areas of his life are welcome.
“We ask only that everyone adhere to the tradition of anonymity and let what they hear there, and who they see there, stay there.”
Pamela Anderson has denied claims she can’t afford to pay for renovations to her Malibu home.
The former ‘Baywatch’ actress admits she is being sued by five building firms over unpaid bills, but insists she is only withholding payment while she decides if their invoices are “fair”.
In a statement released by her management team, the 42-year-old star said: “These reports are crazy and I cannot believe this has become a media issue. It is true that I am in a dispute with some of the contractors working on my home.
“This is because after paying millions of dollars to build the house I continue to get bills from the contractors. My lawyers are reviewing the work done to see if the bills are fair. If they are, they’ll be paid. If they aren’t, they won’t be.”
Five contractors who have worked on Pamela’s new home have filed legal claims for a combined amount of over £690,000.
It had been reported the blonde beauty was unable to pay because she has just £2,300 in available funds.
