Jennifer Aniston believes that the romance in relationships only works if both people make every effort to insure their partner is happy. She said: “Why does the romance leave relationships? I think it’s laziness. I really do. I think a good relationship is about collaboration. That’s the way to go in a relationship.”
Jennifer also believes that communication is the key to an enduring relationship. She explained: “I think you just need to talk to each other. Say what you want. That way it’s not threatening. You just need to say, ‘This is important to me.’ Don’t expect your mate to read your mind.”
In the past, Jennifer has claimed that it’s the women’s fault if they feel like their man is taking them for granted. She explained: “I think that’s because it’s just instinctual as a woman to be the caretaker of your home. Women complain that men don’t do enough, but it’s our own fault. You train your man to do nothing. You can’t blame someone for not knowing what his or her job should be if you don’t ask for it right off the bat.”
Even though she hasn’t had the best luck with her own relationships, I still think that she has given some sound advice. We should all strive to effectively communicate with our partner along with trying to make them happy.
