Oh man, I just stumbled onto this piece of news and I couldn’t help laughing my ass off… then getting pissed off. Where do some women get off? This chick is claiming that Keanu Reeves fathered a child of hers some 20 years ago. She’s asking for $150k/month in child support (the kids like 20, what type of support do you need now!?!?) and $3 Million a month in spousal support! What? HUH!? She wants it all paid RETRO-ACTIVELY!
First, even if this was true… Keanu should be able to sue this chick for making him miss his kids childhood by never letting him know about the child. Secondly, why the hell would you wait this long to make this claim and then of course ask for all funds to be paid retroactively? Can you say, PAYOLA!
This chick then has the balls to go on saying it’s not about revenge or destroying her character, but it being about closure and getting some peace (not to mention a crap load of money).
This is the type of stuff that makes me glad that I am still a virgin. Or something like that. I think Keanu Reeves will be filing a counter-suit and in Canada, he’ll get it. Full article below.
Keanu Reeves is taking a DNA test to prove he’s not the father of a Canadian woman’s children.
The ‘Matrix’ actor denies ever meeting Karen Sala, 46, who has filed a claim in an Ontario court claiming he is the father of at least one of her four adult children.
Reeves’ lawyer Lorne Wolfson has advised the 45-year-old star to take a paternity test to “clear his name” and prove he is not the biological father of any of Sala’s children – who are all in their mid-20s.
The actor will take the test in the next four weeks.
Sala is asking for $150,000 per month in child support – retroactive from June 1988 – and $3 million a month in spousal support, retroactive from November 2006.
Outside the court room, she said: “This is not about revenge or an attack on his good character. It’s about closure and getting some peace. This is a personal journey.”
Sala is due back in court on October 16.
