The funeral service for Adam Goldstein, more popularly know as DJ AM, occurred yesterday afternoon at Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary in West Los Angeles. His body was buried later that afternoon in a Jewish cemetery within the city.
The memorial for DJ AM will be held later today which is going to recognize his battle with substance abuse. The invitation to the memorial service read: “The format of the evening will be in the style of an open 12-step meeting. Adam’s friends both from his life in recovery, as well as those from other areas of his life are welcome. We ask only that everyone adhere to the tradition of anonymity and let what they hear there, and who they see there, stay there.”
