While filming “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” Rupert Grint had to film kissing scenes with a masked Emma Watson stand-in. The actress has not been able to film a couple of scenes. He said: “When you have to kiss a girl in a mask, it’s totally weird.” It sounds like she has gotten cold feet when it comes to filming intimate scenes between her character (Hermione Granger) and Rupert’s character (Ron Weasley). She has admitted: “I pounced on him, I was so desperate to get it over with.” They have both explained that these scenes are difficult for them to shoot because they are worried that they can’t take it seriously and will begin laughing in the middle of the scene.
Their explanation for the awkward feelings while shooting these up close and personal scenes: “We are like siblings- imagine growing up with someone since you were nine” and having to make out with them. Yeah, that would be weird especially having to do it while being filmed.
