Jeremy Piven whom I’m a huge fan of, is a huge fan of selling beers in movie theaters. I agree… but in a pinch you dont need to buy crap from the theater. Take any huge gigantic gatorade bottle. Mix in equal parts southern comfort and equal parts red bull, and you’ve got the recipe for an awesome movie drink. Trust me, I know. I did this at the Jackass 2 movie and barely made it out of the theater. Regardless, it was a great night and made the movie even funnier. Here’s Jeremy’s take.
The ‘Entourage’ actor loves nothing better than relaxing in front of a movie with a cool alcoholic beverage, and thinks film theatres could be dramatically improved if alcohol was made available.
He said: “A brew and a view. I like that. You know what, why don’t we have adult beverages in movie theatres everywhere? I know there’s one in Dallas. We went to a screening with all the Dallas Cowboys American football players and you sit there and they bring you beers. They should have more of them – just don’t bring your kids.”
The 44-year-old star claims he is exceptionally driven when it comes to his career, and has no plans to slow down as he loves being in the limelight.
He explained to Parade magazine: “My father always said being a star means that you have a choice. And I’ve never had artistic choices until now. So, if that’s what being a star is, I welcome that.
“People wonder if success has made me complacent. And I can’t imagine that happening. Success only fuels me because I just want to figure out a way to get better. That’s the whole thing. I can’t imagine thinking, ‘OK, I think I got it now, so maybe I should just relax.’ ”
