Billy Mays, the pitch-man that we all know on TV with such products as: Awesome Auger, Mighty Mend-It, Mighty Putty, OxiClean and Zorbeez was apparently a cocaine addict. The recent autoposy report showed that he had cocaine in his system and that it was a “contributing factor” to his death. The official cause of death is “lethal arrhythmia of the heart”.
It’s been a tough year for the pitch-men apparently. Billy Mays dead, That Sham Wow dude fighting a hooker and nearly getting his tongue bit off. Who’s next?
“He further concluded that cocaine use caused or contributed to the development of his heart disease, and therefore contributed to his death,” it added
“Mays died from a lethal arrhythmia of the heart caused by hypertensive and arteriosclerotic heart disease,” the county said in a statement attributed to Dr. Leszek Chrostowski, the associate medical examiner who conducted the autopsy.
