And this is newsworthy why? Why, because it’s time to set the record straight on what “single” and “not in a relationship” means. Apparently there are people out there that believe if your a rock star or a movie star that every piece of tail you bang has to put you into a relationship. Well, obviously that’s not the case. If I were John Mayer I’d probably be taking out a different girl every night until I randomly stumbled onto the one I wanted to settle down with forevertheweek. John asked a waitress out, they went out, she stayed at his house and does so every once in a while and everyone wants to say that they are in a relationship. Sorry, that’s called a booty call. When he starts taking her to premiers and out in public, I’ll believe they are in a relationship. This chick is so obscure that google can’t find an image of her. The singer – who was recently romantically linked with a cocktail waitress and spotted kissing a fan – claims he is always honest about his relationship status.
He explained: “If I had a girlfriend, she would be incredibly offended by me saying, ‘I don’t have a girlfriend,’ so that’s the proof.
“I can say I’m not with anybody. That’s a death wish if you are with a woman, if you go home and you’ve said that you’re not with anybody, you’ll take a lashing for the next three weeks.”
Despite his claims, John – who split with Jennifer Aniston in March after a year-long romance – was reportedly seen getting close to aspiring actress Scheana Marie Jancan at a Beverly Hills lounge where she was waitressing.
A source said: “Scheana was shocked and thrilled when John asked her out. She has always thought he was hot, and she said yes right away, writing down her cell phone number on a napkin. They flirted the whole time, and he told her she was cute.
“She’s been hanging out at his home a lot. There is always food and beer around. Scheana said she has loads of fun there.”
