The life of Rihanna vs. Chris Brown is quite amazing.. rumors swirling around, never knowing what to believe. We reported yesterday that Rihanna was caught on a date with Andrew Bynum of the Los Angeles Lakers. Apparently, they are just close friends… or possibly he might be trying to work on a 2nd career as a full time bodyguard to protect Rihanna from Chris Brown. The ‘Umbrella’ singer and her 19-year-old on/off boyfriend – who has pleaded not guilty to assaulting her – are said to have rekindled their relationship, but are doing all they can to keep out of the spotlight. A friend of Rihanna’s told the Chicago Sun Times newspaper: “They have spent quite a few nights together.

Unfortunately, Rihanna still wants him and has said to us all, ‘Get over yourselves. I’m with him, so deal with it.’ She has told us she won’t be going public with the relationship for a while.”

Chris is accused of hitting, biting and choking Rihanna until she was unconscious in his car on February 8. He has been charged with felony assault and making criminal threats, and faces over four years in prison if convicted.

Although the pair briefly reunited after the incident, they have since been taking time apart from each other to consider their future. Earlier this week, it was claimed Rihanna was dating Los Angeles Lakers’ star Andrew Bynum after the pair were spotted enjoying an intimate dinner together.

However, Andrew has since denied the claims, insisting the pair are simply close friends. Meanwhile, Rihanna is said to be planning a tour of North America which will start in September. Ciara and Keyshia Cole are rumoured to have been lined up as support acts, although Ciara’s representative has denied the reports. A source said: “Rihanna wants strong women to join her. This is a ‘women empowerment’ type of tour.”
