I stumbled onto some recent comments that Enrique Iglesias made about his un-marriage to Anna Kournikova. Anna Kournikova has to be one of the hottest females alive on the planet today. Since I’m a guy, I’m going to go ahead and translate for all of you females out there so you can learn what’s going through our minds and how to decypher our comments when it comes to marriage. Enrique and Anna have been dating for 8 years. Enrique insists he’s not “mature” enough to settle down and start a family.
Translation: I still want to mess around with other females on the side without having half of my shit taken away when you find out and divorce me.
He told Britain’s Hello! magazine: “I believe in marriage but I don’t think you need to be married to be happy. I’ve seen blissfully happy couples who aren’t married and I’ve seen married couples who are miserable. “It’s hard to keep a relationship healthy and stable – you only have to look at divorce figures. “It’s the same with children. Being a father is a huge responsibility and though I’d love to have children right now is not the moment. Let’s see if I mature some day!”
However, the 33-year-old musician believes Anna, 27, is the love of his life – for now. He said: “Anna is amazing, she’s the ideal woman. She’s the woman of my life now and, though I don’t really believe in eternal love, it sometimes does happen.”
Translation: If I can keep doing good for myself, eventually I’ll trade Anna in on a younger model once she starts to age and her body starts looking less then perfect. For now, she’s hot as hell… but as soon as she puts on another 10 lbs. I’m out the door and there’s no recourse. Life is grand!
Ladies, if your relationship has been going on for 8 years and your man makes comments like the above, it’s time to worry. I don’t think you’ll ever tie the knot unless you hit the lotto and he wants to lock you down.

Excuse me.. But I disagree with your post. Enrique is not ready to settle. You should not throw stones at him for admitting he’s not ready. Maybe he’s not in love or never was.. and is just afraid of getting hurt like his mother did. And his father was very nasty to him. When he told his father he loved him. His father hit him with an empty wine bottle. Maybe he’s afraid of family life since his child hood was not so grand. Nothing wrong with him waiting and being Leary on who he marries. You people do not know him. So how about you try not staring anything. Enrique treats his fans with so much respect and love. Don’t you think “Anna” has a mind of her own? Don’t you suspect that she would decide this for herself? Why does the world have to get there nose into his personal life? Oh right.. to make more money and who cares who gets hurt?
