Amy Winehouse is “F***ing Ugly.”
Her words, not mine. So hideous in fact, that she refused to attend her own birthday party.
Her family and friends threw a party in honour of the fact that she is still alive and somehow managed to make it to 25. Deciding against a nice restaurant, or take out at home, her family chose to hold the party for the alcoholic drug addict at a jazz bar. Their strategy seems to be surrounding her with too much temptation.
They didn’t get the chance to practice their new fangled rehab technique because Amy never showed. According to the UK’s The Sun, Amy turned away three cabs that were sent to pick her up. A friend told the paper that Amy was “standing in front of the mirror telling everyone how rough she looked. Unfortunately her lifestyle has had a major affect on her appearance and it’s only just started to sink in. She kept saying she was ugly and was in an awful state. They couldn’t get her out.”
The evening ended not with cake and party hats, but with Amy getting in a huge fight with her best friend who tried to get her out of the house, (and then promptly reported everything to the press. BFF!), and Amy’s mother sobbing over the fact her daughter ditched her own birthday.
Who would have thought that gallons of heroine would cause you to look unattractive? Man, drugs should come with a warning or something.
