I must have pushed it to the dregs of my mind, along with algebra and Through The Storm, but it was reported long ago, that Mariah Carey was filming another movie. In fact, it even showed at the Sundance Film Festival.

I heard about this movie ages ago, but then news of it ceased to exist, so I assumed someone had done society a favour, burned it, and sacrificed a few goats to the gods to ensure no one would have to view it.

Well the weeks of prayer didnt work, as Vivendi Entertainment has acquired the domestic distribution rights to Mariah Carey’s new flick “Tennessee”. The “movie” is about two brothers, who travel to New Mexico to find their long lost father because one of them has cancer. Along the way they meet Krystal (Carey) an aspiring singer who decides to join them on their journey. Naturally.

With a richly layered plot like that, how can this thing not be crap? Mariah better make room on her mantel for the punch in the face and kick in the teeth awards that society will undoubtedly bestow on her.
