Poor Morgan Freeman. Here is a man who goes his entire life being a well respected actor, living in relative anonymity and avoiding the glare of Hollywood’s spotlight. He goes from a man who only surfaces for movie premiers, to a man who is all over the tabloid headlines.
Well, his horrible week just keeps getting worse and worse. First he totals his car in Mississippi, has to be cut out using the jaws of life and be airlifted to a local hospital where he was listed in critical condition. Despite the crash, he remained in “high spirits” even though he suffered a broken arm, broken elbow (Ugh! How does that even happen?!) and shoulder damage. He was positive and looked forward to making a full recovery.
But just when it looked like nothing could take down the MorgMan (copyright: Gossip Boulevard 2008) his wife decides she’ll place that last straw upon the poor rickety camel’s back. Freeman’s rep confirmed that Morgan and his wife of 24 years are divorcing. The actor’s attorney Bill Luckett told Access Hollywood that they are “Involved in a divorce action.” Though the attorney also claims that they have been legally separated since last December, they picked a helluva time to go public with it.
Poor Morgan, at least he can still sooth himself to sleep with his voice. He’ll always have his narrations.
