Jamie Spears will continue controlling evey aspect of his daughter’s life until the end of the year. A commissioner extended Jamie’s conservatorship meaning he controls Britney’s estate and affairs until Dec 31st 2008, with a status hearing scheduled for October. It was left open to early termination, however likely that will be (re: not likely)
The commissioner told the media that “I understand that Ms. Spears is reluctantly agreeing to extend those letters”
Reluctantly eh? She’s done such a bang up job handling her own career. We all miss the old Britney, back when she was younger and every little thing she did was manipulated and controlled!
As for Sam “Lufti” Lutfi, though the restraining order expired today, Britney’s lawyer released a statement to the media saying Britney no longer wanted to be drugged by have any contact with Mr. Lutfi. Samuel Ingham III said in a statement that “Britney has made clear to everyone that she does not want to be further harassed or contacted in any way by Osama ‘Sam’ Lutfi, now or at anytime in the future,” He also stated that if any contact was made, Britney would take the “appropriate legal action”
Well there, all should be quiet in Britney land for at least…. Give it six more hours before another scandal?
