
Gossip Girl has released new ads, and they are even more daring than the ‘OMFG’ ads! The show will resume on television on September 1st. Until then, we have ads to keep us busy.
The very first advertisement has people calling it a parent’s nightmare, very bad for you (to see or do?!) and a nasty piece of work. All of these comments have been strung together and are now on the new advertisements.
The Parent’s Television Council states that it is out of desperation, that is the reason why the network is allowing for these ads to be created and shown to the public. However, they have been catching people’s attention, and that is exactly what the network CW said. The ads capture what the show is about. So, for the members of the Parent’s Television Council, chances are good small children should not be watching it. It’s definitely an older teen’s show to watch, therefore the advertisements seem more reasonable for that type of audience.
