Heath Ledger’s Family Attends Movie Premiere

The long-awaited premiere in New York for The Dark Knight hosted the most important people: the late Heath Ledger’s family. Kim Ledger and wife Ines (Heath’s stepmom) avoided the red carpet so they could watch the movie in peace. Heath’s mom Sally, her husband, and Heath’s older sister were also in attendance.

Co-stars treated the premiere as a tribute to Heath, commenting how great it was to work with Heath. Michael Caine noted his very intense performance throughout the film.

Heath died on January 22 of an accidental prescription-drug overdose. This news makes people even more interested since it is the last movie he starred in. Movie theatres are constantly adding new times for the film since it keeps selling out!
