Christie Brinkley’s Surprise Settlement

After what seemed like a very long, but nasty, settlement/divorce, Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook’s divorce trial has finally come to an abrupt end.

A settlement was reached on Thursday at 6:00 in the morning. The settlement left Christie with custody of their two children, Jack, 13, and Sailor, 10. She gets to keep 18 of their properties in the Hamptons. Cook was paid $2.1 million in the settlement. Christie will determine when Peter gets to see the children since she has sole custody.

The couple split two years ago after Christie found out about Peter’s affair with his assistant.
