Anne Hathaway and former beau Raffaello Follieri

The new People Magazine is currently on newsstands with the glamorous Anne Hathaway profiled on the cover.  The main title says it all: The Princess and the ‘Con Man.’ 

Anne Hathaway and ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri were dating for four years before his true self broke out of the relationship.  Raffaello is facing many charges and possibly prison time because of money laundering and fraud.  The Italian businessman was accused of stealing millions of dollars, made false accusations that he had ties to the Vatican, and used his money to flaunt himself.  Anne had no idea this was the man she was involved with.  She was in love with him and did not hide that fact in interviews. 

Clearly the relationship is over between the two, with Anne ending the relationship.  As to what Raffaello will receive as a punishment, it has not been stated.
