Rachael Ray

A former accountant for Rachael Ray’s cooking show filed a $1 million dollar lawsuit against her, claiming he was fired because of his eating disorder.  Aaron Ferguson has been suffering from anorexia for about six years.  Comments were made about being anorexic to Aaron, which are included in his court papers.  The comments continued even after it was known that he was suffering from the disease. 

Aaron began working for Rachael Ray (her daytime show) in July of 2007, but was fired in October of that year when people were aware of his condition.  What is also interesting in this case is that Rachael was not named as a defendant in the case.  No one has stated that Rachael Ray made any comments, but those who actually worked in the accounting department.
