The death of Heath Ledger left people in shock. Nobody suspected the young star would die at such a young age. He was happy, healthy, there was nothing wrong with him.
As a way to celebrate the celebrity and remember him for who he was, Perth, Australia is receiving an auditorium named after him. Perth, Australia, his hometown, believes this is a great tribute to the native star. The State Premier Alan Carpenter gave a dedication to the late Heath on Tuesday at an opening ceremony for the auditorium. In the speech, he mentioned that he was a very dedicated actor and a giver to the arts.
In support of the auditorium was Kim Ledger, Heath’s father, who was very surprised at the news, but nonetheless happy with the tribute.
