The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), a leading Catholic group in the U.S,  has deemed Mike Myers’ recently released ‘Love Guru’ morally offensive and insulting to Hindus. The USCCB is currently helping anti ‘Love Guru’ Hindu organizations to boycott the movie, claiming the film is “vulgar and tasteless”, and that it “wallows in endless penis jokes and fairly yucky potty humour”. Hindus believe that the film is rank with stereotypes of their culture and full of sacrilegious comments, and fear that Hindu religion and culture will be misrepresented to the mostly underexposed and uneducated masses.
