Ellen Degeneres gave long time girlfriend Portia de Rossi (best known for her role as Nelle Porter on Ally McBeal and Lindsay Bluth of Arrested Development) a marquis cut pink diamond ring for their upcoming ‘dream wedding’. Ellen and Portia officially started dating after VH1’s Big in ‘04 awards and announced their engagement back in May ‘08. They are currently living together in Los Angeles. On the wedding, Degeneres, 50,  said, “I can’t wait to be married. I feel like it is long overdue.” And we hope, for her sake and the sake of newly unbanned same-sex Hollywood marriages, that theirs stands the test of a few months.
