Over the course of the weekend, 25-year-old Anne Hathaway dumped her boyfriend of four years, 29-year-old Raffaello Follieri.
The Devil Wears Prada star decided it was best for her career to split from the Italian-American businessman due to the year long controversy surrounding him. Apparently, Follieri’s charity, the Follieri Foundation, known for providing vaccinations in developing countries, is currently being investigated by the New York State Attorney General’s Office.
Yesterday evening, Hathaway put on a brave face and attended the world premiere of her new movieGet Smart in Westwood, California solo.
An insider tells Mail Online, “It’s heartbreaking for her to dump him, and she’s devastated that it’s come to this, but she really didn’t have a choice. His scandals were hurting her reputation.”
