Sexy TV star Ali Larter, from the hit NBC show Heroes, was once given the silent treatment by the director and producers of a film she was working on because she put on weight!

Lard-er?

The slim starlet spoke about her awful treatment to Allure magazine, “The faxes went out from the producers and the director to my agents to my manager to call me and ask me to lose weight…I just remember sitting in my trailer hysterically crying from the embarrassment I felt about myself, my body - and that no one could talk to me directly.”

It seems like in Hollywood, gaining a few pounds on your hips somehow magically makes you incapable of understanding direct speech! No matter how grotesque a story like that is to hear, it’s hard to feel bad for a tall, blond goddess like Larter. It seems like these gorgeous celebs always have a sob story about how there was one time when they weren’t perfect! Boo hoo.
