Jennifer introduced Courteney Cox to her boyfriend, singer and guitarist John Mayer, just a few days ago, but Cox has already gone on record saying that her best friend and longtime Friends co-star is in a good place.

Just last weekend, John and Jen were at the Cox-Arquette home for a visit. Sources have said in the past that Jennifer’s closeness with Courtney (and also her neediness) have caused some tensions between Cox and her husband David Arquette. Let’s hope that if Jen’s in a “good place,” then she’ll let Courteney and David have some much needed time alone together. Cox will have all the free time in the world; her TV show Dirt has just been canceled!
