These new pics of the world’s first pregnant man, Thomas Beatie, are unbelievable! He’s due in 4 weeks and is set to give birth to a baby girl. Beatie and wife Nancy have picked out a name, but aren’t sharing it yet.
Beatie suffered a ectopic pregnancy that caused him to loose twins and a fallopian tube before he successfully became pregnant with the his daugther-to-be. Thomas, a former beauty queen, chose to keep his female reproductive organs, despite having his breasts removed and undergoing hormone treatment, because Nancy was unable to bare children.
This amazing story will only get more interesting: the couple plan on having more children!

So long as they love and cherish that baby there is nothing wrong with it. there are so many children who are hurt and abused everyday and you are having a go at someone who is so happy to be a parent..grow up and realise it is not about your thoughts on the issue.. congrats on being a parent and congrats on the new baby on the way

As his wife is unable to have a child I think what this man is doing is an incredible gesture of love to his wife. As long as that little baby girl has a happy and healthy life then who cares how she gets here. As a woman who is currently pregnant with her first child (also a little girl) I would gladly like to hand my ever growing belly over to my husband for a while!!

I’m confused: you can’t have it both ways because it is a mockery of the beauty of childbirth. Procreating is a gift from God to a man and a woman: the woman gets the carry the child while the man sees the blessing of this gift that is half of himself. If this person felt trapped in a man’s body, and chose to live as a man, why should he turn around and have the benefits of being a female after he’s chosen otherwise? That’s pretty messed up. Try explaining THAT to your children!
mmkay, so here’s the thing.
we looked this up in my digital design class because we were bored and wanted to know what the heck happened in this situation. we’re 15 so we’re naturally curious. this person, thomas beatie, was a WOMAN. originally a WOMAN. kay? getcha facts straight. THEN, she got a “sex change” which was really just an outer appearance change and kept the lady parts. so she’s still technically a woman. she just looks like a man and has a man name. so technically they’re lesbians. and i’m sorry for all you people who are for that kinda lifestyle, but i’m not. and i think YOU should practice a little bit of that tolerance that you’re constantly saying you have SO much of and not attack MY religious beliefs just cause i disagree with you. i’m just sayin’ it’s against my personal beliefs. this doesn’t make them any less nice people…i just think it’s wrong. and that isn’t judging. look up the defenition and get educated homeslice.
they are so adorable and in love, i grew up with parents that hate eachother. this child is going to grow up in a loving home. as for the rest of the world and it’s judgement…..everyone gets judged everday for everything and it’s usually by christian right wing so go fuck yourselves, your way is not the only way

I BELEVE IT IS A BUTIFUL THING DON’T FEEL BAD IF YOU DO I KINDA KNOW WHAT IT IS LIKE MY WIFE SARAH WAS 3 MONTHS PREGNANT AND SHE WAS IN A CAR RECK AND WAS PARALIZED AND PASSED AWAY THEY GOT THE BABY OUT BUT NOT IN TIME.
