Golden couple Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson are definitely are planning to marry. The couple broke up in May 2007, with Kate reportedly blaming Owen’s lack of commitment. A few months later, Owen then attempted to commit suicide, allegedly slashing his wrists and taking an overdose. The couple got back together in March this year – and Kate was this weekend spotted wearing a whopping engagement ring.

A pal told the News of the World: “Kate supported Owen during his low patch and that proved to him she’s the woman he wants to be with for ever.He picked out the ring and went for the biggest one he could find. He was nervous about proposing but Kate was thrilled and the whole thing was really emotional.The engagement is a natural step forward for them both and Kate’s ecstatic.”
