Ashlee Simpson is pregnant and rushing down the aisle. Despite her silence, denial, playing it coy and so on, a source close to the singer has confirmed to Hollyscoop that she’s 100% pregnant and planning to wed fiance Pete Wentz next week.
Ashlee is set to have a shotgun wedding next weekend in California to her rocker beau Pete Wentz of band Fall Out Boy. The couple are said to have sent out invitations to friends and family members, urging them to save the date for May 16, 2008. “The wedding invitations have been sent out, its taking place the weekend of May 16. The location will not be revealed until the day of the wedding but guests are told it will be an hour drive from Los Angeles,” so said a source close to both Ashlee and Wentz.
No words from Ashlee, Wentz, or their camp concerning the wedding report.
Romance aside, Ashlee is keeping herself busy promoting her third LP “Bittersweet World” which has been released on April 22. She worked on the album with producers Timbaland, Chad Hugo, and Kenna.
