Former Disney queen Hilary Duff has been approached to star in the upcoming Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off on the CW network, sources close to the show say.

Although there has been no confirmation from Hilary’s rep or the CW, the singer-actress, 20, has reportedly been given a script to read the role of Annie, the principal’s daughter at Beverly Hills High.

Duff is currently appearing in the indie film War, Inc. with John Cusack, which is premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

Dustin Milligan and Nip/Tuck’s AnnaLynne McCord are already involved in 90210.
