Actress Scarlett Johansson has revealed the cover art of her debut album “Anywhere I Lay My Head”. According to sources, the cover was shot in Louisiana where they record the CD and was snapped by photographer Brea Souders. The album that is due May 20, contains 10 Tom Waits cover songs with David Bowie being featured in two of them and an original material called “Song for Jo”.
Bowie, who Johansson met during a party just before embarking on the project, contributes his vocal in the songs “Falling Down” and “Fannin’ Street”. These two tracks are produced by Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ guitarist Nick Zinner and members of band Celebration.
On recording the album Johansson previously said, “It was a whole other magical experience for me. It was amazing. I worked with some incredible people and was just able to work, to do something completely different. I recorded in a very remote area in Louisiana and just have free reign to be crazy crazy and that is so exciting.”
