Sir Paul McCartney has taken his relationship with 47 year-old American heiress Nancy Shevell to the next level by inviting her on a romantic Caribbean holiday.

The former Beatle, 65, booked a break to Antigua with Shevell after his $48.6 million divorce settlement with estranged wife Heather Mills last month (Mar08).

The pair was spotted getting close on the beach of a private resort , splashing out on a $12,000 a-night villa. The couple have enjoyed hand-in-hand walks along the coast, a sailing trip and frolics in the sea.

“Everyone on the beach could see they only had eyes for each other,” said an onlooker. “He is a good few years older than her but looking good and can clearly still impress the ladies. They seemed so happy and relaxed in each other’s company, as though they’ve been together for years.”

No doubt the trip will be a slap in the face for ex-wife Mills, 40, who reportedly flew into a rage last October when a photograph of McCartney and Shevell kissing in a car emerged.
