Heather Mills emerged triumphant from London’s High Court on Monday, after securing herself a $48.6million divorce settlement from Sir Paul McCartney.

The former glamor model, dubbed Mucca by British tabloids due to her murky past, was all smiles as she addressed the world’s media on the steps of the London court.

She said “It was an incredible result in the end.”

Sir Paul, 65, reportedly arrived at court 34 at 10:15am, and was followed shortly by his estranged wife. The former Beatle was sporting a gray overcoat, while Mills, 40, wore a grey, blue and green three-piece suit and blouse.

The decision, given by Mr Justice Bennett, was held in private,. He is expected to take instructions from the parties over whether any details should be made public so as to end media speculation.

Insiders suggest either party is likely to object to basic details being released. The decision over releasing any details will be made when both parties agree.

Some lawyers claimed it could have been the biggest contested divorce settlement in British legal history with a final payout of around $120million.

Ahead of the judgment this morning Heather stripped her website of rants about her divorce with Sir Paul.

The mother of one has removed a short film of the paparazzi “hounding” her, pictures of the couple together, and a blast at the press.

Also gone were her blog, links to landmine and vegetarian campaigns, anti-seal clubbing and amputee charities.

A source close to the embattled former couple said: “It seems very strange that the day before she’s due in court to officially hear how much she’s getting from Paul, her inflammatory website is suddenly empty. It may be that she is going to make a fresh start, or update it, but it all seems too much of a coincidence.”

Paul, worth an estimated $1.65 billion, married Heather in 2002 but they split four years later. Let’s just hope she disappears for good now that she’s robbed him blind.
