The video reportedly was filmed in Nashville where she also worked on the country album. Jewel previously described the video as using “visual metaphors to portray how woman have in a way been responsible for binding and restricting themselves”.

“Stronger Woman” is the first single from Jewel’s forthcoming album, “Perfectly Clear” which will be released later this year.
