X Factor winner Leona Lewis has turned down a whopping £250,000(=$500,000) to play a fifteen minute concert.

The singer was offered the massive pay day, complete with a luxury all expenses paid five night holiday, to perform at a corporate event in Dubai - but that just wasn’t enough to tempt the singer.

A source snides to The Sun, “Leona was offered the £250,000 to perform just four songs. It wouldn’t have taken much more than 15 minutes. But it seems it wasn’t enough for her team.”

Instead, Leona is launching her bid to crack the US this month with her British smash hit single Bleeding Love.
