Victoria Beckham, self-proclaimed style icon, graces the April cover of British Vogue.
Posh’s cover is accompanied by a twelve-page fashion spread. Reports claim it’s her most risqué yet. The snaps were taken by top photographer Nick Knight who’s shot stars like David Bowie, Kylie Minogue and Kate Moss.
Talking from her Hertfordshire family home, the 33 year-old is adamant she was ready to move on from music and focus on her career in fashion.
“It’s tough being a pop star and a footballer’s wife,” she said.
“I’m aware of people’s preconceptions. For the other girls, it’s their business, but I don’t do that any more. My business is fashion.”
Her comments come as US reports say she is lined up to present a Gordon Ramsay-esque fashion show called Fashion Nightmares. It will see her canvas America, in search of fashion mishaps and deck out their lacking wardrobes.
Victoria also defends herself against the size zero slurs and her alleged dieting, saying: “I would never put my health at risk,” she said.
“Obviously working out is important. Well, I don’t. I have joined a gym but I can’t bring myself to start,” adding jokingly: “What do you wear on the running machine? I can’t bring myself to wear flat shoes.”
Rarely seen without her stiletto heels, Posh revealed she uses all the tricks of the trade to get the footwear she wants.
“If they don’t have my size I just stick toilet paper in – if that’s what it takes to get a nice shoe,” she added. The full interview is in the April issue of Vogue, on sale Monday.

It is in Vogue’s best interest to make whomever they place on the cover look beautful.
However, this particular issue not flying off the racks so much. Sorry, should have included that in prior post.
