Amy and Pete listen up – Scientology can cure your drug habits. Well, that’s according to Jeff Conaway of Grease and Taxi fame. The actor, 57, claims his drug-ravaged lifestyle has been turned around after Scientologist and former Grease co-star John Travolta gave him some Scientology material. Conaway’s drug addiction was so bad he was reportedly bundled out of the US reality TV show Celebrity Rehab after just seven episodes. But now Conaway says he has changed, adding: ‘My doctor was like, “Holy cow, whatever you’ve been doing keep doing it because it’s really working”. Meanwhile, Joss Stone has defended Scientologist Tom Cruise. The soul singer, 20, said: ‘I do not understand why people are so mean about him. He’s lovely.’
