In celebrity real estate news, check out Jessica Simpson’s brand spankin’ new Las Vegas condo. The failed actress reportedly closed on her one-bedroom suite at the Palms Place in Sin City today. An insider at the hotel tells PageSix.com that Jessica’s boyfriend, Tony Romo, “has not seen the unit yet.” In fact, our source reveals that “the purchase of the condo was initiated when Jessica was still married to ex-husband Nick Lachey,” but the Dukes of Hazzard star kept the condo in their 2005 divorce. Jessica’s new crash pad features 1,200 square feet of living space, hardwood and marble floors, 9-foot ceilings, multiple balconies, a living room with fireplace, plasma TVs and a king-size bed. The cost of Ms. Simpson’s flashy home away from home? A smidgen over $600 000.
