Rita Marley’s 2004 autobiography, No Woman No Cry: My Life With Bob Marley, is being turned into a movie by The Weinstein Co., and the widow of the reggae legend will be executive producer. “I’ve waited a long time to tell this story, about growing up in Jamaica and meeting Bob and making our music and falling in love and making our family,” Rita Marley said in a release. “All that, and all that we went through, went into this. Now is that time. This is my story.”
