Rihanna has been honored with a national holiday in her home country of Barbados. The Caribbean island celebrated it’s first “Rihanna Day” on Thursday. “She’s really flattered. She can’t believe she now has her on national day, it’s such an honor.” Rihanna, who celebrated her twenty birthday Wednesday, will fly out to Barbados to accept the honor and perform a free concert.

Having your own national holiday is an honor. Now that Grammy award winning Rihanna has her own in her country, I wonder if she will add it on the list of places she will be putting on her “Girl’s Night Out” concerts brought to you by Escada’s Moon Sparkle. I dont think its right for her to have her own day. there are many other better artist than her. i think its slightly unfair. i do agree that she has done well for herself but there needs to be more reconisions for other artists is barbados =)
