Prince William and Prince Harry to bike across Africa

Royal Family
Prince William and Prince Harry are planning a 1,000-mile motorbike trip across Africa to raise money for Prince Harry’s charity, Sentebale, which helps orphans and victims of HIV/AIDS in Lesotho. The trip is raising concerns about the princes’ security while on the journey. Along the way, they will encounter poor roads with lax driving regulations as well as the potential threat of carjackers. The royals will follow in the footsteps of Ewan McGregor and his friend Charley Boorman. That duo biked 15,000 miles from John O’Groats to Cape Town for the television show Long Way Down on BBC. The two completed the trip in 85 days after starting on May 12, 2007.
