The Spice Girls announced today that they are scaling back their comeback tour, with the final concert taking place in Toronto on February 26, according to the Associated Press. The girl group has cancelled shows in China, Australia, South Africa and Argentina due to “family and personal commitments.” A spokesperson for the group told the press, “due to the phenomenal demand for tickets in the U.K. and the U.S. along with the touring logistics for such a massive production it was not possible to fit everything in.” Via their Web site, the group showed gratitude for their fans and all of their support. “We want to thank everyone who came to see us. It was all so mad the first time round, so we’ve really been able to appreciate it properly this time.”
