Amy Winehouse was rushed to hospital last night and put on a drip as she struggles to defeat her drugs addiction. The 24-year-old was placed on a drip suffering from “dangerous levels of dehydration”, at the Harley Street Clinic in central London. An insider told the Sun on Thursday night: “Amy was looking very pale and thin. She looked ropey and exhausted. Let’s hope she hasn’t taken a turn for the worse.” The medical centre is just around the corner from where Winehouse’s rehab facility is at the Nightingale Hospital. Her father Mitch, 57, reportedly told the paper the star is struggling with ‘horrific’ withdrawal symptoms saying: “Amy is OK. She is making progress but will be in rehab for a long time.”
